直接杀:

拐弯抹角地杀:
Lower the price and I’ll consider it. 价钱低一点我才会考虑。
It’s a little overpriced. 这标价有点贵。
I like everything about it except the price. 这东西除了价钱之外我都喜欢。
尔虞我诈地杀:
I’ve seen this cheaper (in) other places. 我在别家有看过更便宜的。
I heard other stores were having great mark-downs on this item.

B:I like this style, but I don’t care for the color. It’s loose at the waist [ weist ], and it’s a bit too large.
A:What about this one? We have this model in several sizes and colors, dark brown, light green, light yellow, crimson [ 'krimzn ].
B:Let me see the crimson one, in my size, please.
A:Yes, ma’am. This is your size, it’s a lovely dress and very smart. It’s in fashion now. Would you like to try it?
B:All right, it just suits me, I’ll take it. How much do I have to pay?
A:Three hundred Dollars.
B:That’s rather more than I thought of paying. I should have something cheaper.

A: I see. Oh, wait. Ma’am, I’m sorry. These slacks were on sale.
B: Yes, they were thirty percent off.
A: I’m sorry, but we don’t allow returns on sale items.
B: I know many stores have that policy. But I have returned sale items here before.
A: I’m sorry, but we usually don’t do it. It is our policy.
B: I just bought these slacks a week ago. And I am a regular customer here. Can you make an exception this time?
A: Well. Let me talk to the manager for a moment.
A: Ma’am, the manager says I can do it this time.
B: Good. I’m a regular customer here. I am glad you can make an exception for me.
